This is the Terms and Conditions, last updated 11 June 2024, put plainly.
- Entertainment, at your risk
- The terms describe the site as an entertainment service, and every member agrees to use it at their own risk.
- No background checks
- By its own account, the company does not carry out criminal background checks on its users.
- Claims go unchecked
- It also says it does not screen what users tell it, or try to verify that it is accurate.
- Profiles may not be genuine
- Members accept that profiles, messages and other communication may not be genuine, and agree to take reasonable care with other users.
- Staff profiles
- The company does not promise that every profile in search belongs to a member. It reserves the right to create profiles run by its own employees, which it says are there for testing the service, its features and research into its products.

What happens when you join, pay and cancel?
Start on Classic
Classic is the starting level, with a profile, browsing and a daily cap on messages.
Move up if you want more
VIP removes the daily message limit; VIP Plus adds exclusive matches and priority placement. The pricing page lists every plan and cost.
Know what renews
The terms say some plans renew automatically until you cancel. The pricing page marks which ones do.
Cancel through support
Ask support or the chat bot to cancel, and the terms say you will be emailed a link to the Membership Cancellation process. Paid benefits run to the end of the period you paid for. Your profile stays until you remove it from your Membership page.
Expect purchases to be final
The refund policy, updated 12 March 2025, calls purchases generally final: nothing back for part-used periods unless the law where you live says otherwise, and any refund carries an administration charge. Boosts and Super Match are not refunded in part.

Who can join Local Sex Meets?
Adults aged 18 or over, or 21 in Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska, Wyoming and any other place where the legal adult age is above 18. Ages are estimated automatically, and further checks apply where the law requires them. Members also accept the Terms and Conditions when they join.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
Block the person and report the profile or message. Support staff reply by chat and messaging around the clock, and the terms say complaints about illegal or inappropriate content are reviewed and resolved within five business days.
